For UK pharmacy, medical and nursing students

Practise prescribing on an ePMA-style chart.

Realistic case studies, live classroom teaching, and a question bank built for the way prescribers actually work — not generic flashcards.

No card required. Free tier includes the ePMA simulator and a curated set of cases.

Built by a practising UK clinical pharmacist for the way prescribing is actually taught and assessed in 2026.

What you get

Every module centres on what a prescriber does — write the chart, verify the prescription, spot the error, choose the drug, calculate the dose.

ePMA simulator

A hospital-style electronic prescribing chart with allergies, controlled drugs, witness sign-off and dose-checking.

Inpatient & outpatient cases

Branching case studies with charts, biochem, observations and model answers — run solo or live with a lecturer.

Spot-the-error

Time-pressured chart-checking practice — find the wrong drug, wrong dose, missed allergy or dispensing error before it gets to the patient.

Question bank (PSA prep)

Mixed-type revision across nine item types — MCQ, cloze, ordering, matching, bucket-sort, calculation and more — with gamified streaks.

Inter-professional teaching

One case. Three professions. Discipline-tagged questions.

Run inter-professional teaching with medical, pharmacy and nursing students working the same patient in the same live classroom — each seeing the questions tagged for their discipline.

Replaces three parallel teaching sessions with one shared one. That's the conversation that closes university pilots.

FAQ

What makes this different from Pastest or Quesmed?

Those are flashcard-style revision tools. MediCase centres on what a prescriber actually does — an electronic prescribing chart, branching cases, live classroom teaching and discipline-tagged inter-professional workshops. The question bank is one module of five, not the whole product.

Do I need anything installed?

No. MediCase runs in any modern browser on laptop, tablet or phone. Lecturers project the live-classroom view; students join with a six-character code from their own device.

Is this for medical and nursing students too?

Yes. The product was built prescribing-first, so it works for anyone whose course includes prescribing assessment — pharmacy, medicine and nursing — and discipline mode is designed to teach all three in one shared session.

Can my lecturer see my scores?

Only if you're signed up on your university's tenant. On the training.medi-case.co.uk open tenant, your activity stays private to you. On a university tenant, educators see cohort-level analytics on the modules they've assigned.

How do universities pay?

Annual invoice. Every licence includes a branded subdomain, educator-admin onboarding and the full library. Standard and premium tiers add more authoring support — book a demo for a tailored quote.

Where is data hosted?

In the EU/UK on Railway, with PostgreSQL backups. Personal data is processed under UK GDPR; we hold a data-processing agreement for university customers and a privacy notice for direct students.
